The Department of Commerce is committed to providing quality education in Commerce and Management while fostering academic excellence, professional competence, and ethical values among students. The department strives to prepare learners to meet the challenges of the dynamic business environment through a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical exposure.

The department offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes designed in accordance with the curriculum of Savitribai Phule Pune University. The courses equip students with a strong foundation in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Business Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Cost and Management Accounting, Banking, and emerging areas of commerce.

To enrich the learning experience, the department regularly organizes seminars, workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits, entrepreneurship development programmes, career guidance sessions, skill development activities, and various co-curricular and extension programmes. These initiatives help students develop analytical thinking, communication skills, leadership qualities, and employability.
